What to expect from Family Switch.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Netflix is adapting another children’s book by Amy Krouse Rosenthal for streaming, and there is plenty of Family Switch movie news on the way. Formerly titled Family Leave, the movie is inspired by the Rosenthal book Bedtime for Mommy. Previously, Netflix adapted her children’s book Yes Day with Jennifer Garner and Jenna Ortega. Garner will feature in Family Switch as well, but Ortega will not.
McG has promised after speaking with EW that the movie will provide "meta nods" to other body switch movies of the past. One of those body switch movies is Jennifer Garner's 13 Going On 30 in which her character's 13-year-old self ends up in the future in the body of her 30-year-old self. Family Switch, however, isn't expected to feature any of those time traveling elements.
Family Switch Cast There are some familiar faces for streaming fans in the Netflix Family Switch movie cast. Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms star as the Walker parents in the Netflix body swap comedy. While Garner might be best known for her roles in rom-coms and as a super spy in Alias, this will be her fourth Netflix project, following up the family comedy Yes Day.
Cinema legend Rita Moreno is rumored to be playing the person responsible for the body swap in the movie. While it’s not clear who else the rest of the cast will be playing, the Netflix Family Switch movie cast does feature a lot of actors with comedic experience as well as several who have worked with the existing production team in the past.
