777 Partners 'has taken longer than any of us anticipated' admits Everton interim chief executive Colin Chong following a trio of letters sent this week by the Fan Advisory Board

Everton’s interim chief executive Colin Chong admits that club’s proposed takeover by 777 Partners "has taken longer than any of us anticipated," following a trio of letters sent this week by the Fan Advisory Board calling for an end to the uncertainty.

It was subsequently revealed that 777, who are confident of meeting the Premier League’s criteria for approval of their proposed takeover, had written back to the FAB insisting that they would be willing to have regular meetings with them once the transaction closes, but are not able to do so before in accordance with the requirement of the OaDT to remain silent.
