Everton chief commercial and communications officer gave an update on the build at Bramley-Moore Dock
One of the biggest visual milestones of the Everton Stadium build at Bramley-Moore Dock is to begin before the end of the month.
The structure of the stadium has been a dominant presence on the Liverpool skyline for some time now, and Everton’s chief commercial and communications officer, Richard Kenyon, has revealed that the next major visual milestone is imminent, with the project remaining ‘on track’ despite the current takeover situation.
“It’s a stunning location, a stunning build and there is fantastic progress. The main form is there now, it looks like a stadium. The roof is almost finished and the terracing is in, the MEP work has started within the stadium itself. Kenyon was quizzed on the potential for the stadium away from it just hosting Everton home matches, with the development to also open up new commercial opportunities through its ‘ALL’ plan, which it hopes will revolutionise the football hospitality industry by providing an array of different bars and restaurants to cater for the tastes of all Evertonians, turning into a venue that goes beyond just 90 minutes on the pitch.
