Phew.Carter’s stellar play turned into a heady one from the defense as a whole when the middle-infield duo of Corey Seager and Marcus Semien recognized that Altuve, who was on his way to third by the time Carter caught the ball, hadn’t re-tagged second base on the way back to first.
