The AI developers came under intense scrutiny in Europe recently, with Italy being theChatGPT. Last week regulators in Germany followed by demanding answers from OpenAI concerning the company’s intentions and ability to comply with the strict data privacy laws enshrined in the EU’s General Data Protection Regulations .
In its request, the company cited Coinbase’s case from 2017 and said that the tax agency has gone far beyond the rules set by U.S. district judge Jacqueline Scott Corley. In the Coinbase case, the agency scaled back its initial demand after Coinbase’s continuous refusal.
