The least-powerful BMW X2 in Europe has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel with 148 hp and 265 lb-ft
Soon after North American specifications for the 2024 BMW X2 were announced, we now have comprehensive details about the variants that European customers will be able to get their hands on. As expected, they will have more options than U.S. buyers, most notably with the option of the new all-electric iX2 xDrive30. Three combustion engines will be offered in Europe, consisting of two petrol units and one diesel engine. The petrol range starts with the X2 sDrive20i which comes equipped with a 1.
0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that has been upgraded with new low-friction pistons, a graphite coating on the piston skirts, and an active oil separator. This variant produces 148 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque and allows the X2 sDrive18d to hit 62 mph in 8.9 seconds. This version sips between 5.1-5.5 liters per 100 km or 55.4 mpg – 51.4 mpg in the WLTP cycle.
