Shaun Wright-Phillips has given his verdict on the ongoing Jadon Sancho situation at Man United
Former Premier League star Shaun Wright-Phillips believes Manchester United star Jadon Sancho has been treated 'unfairly' by manager Erik ten Hag and the club must let the issue go.
Many of Sancho's teammates have asked him to apologise to Ten Hag in order to drop the issue and move past it, but the player seems to be sticking to his guns. But Wright-Phillips is adamant that the star shouldn't be apologising for the problem and says that he finds it strange no one else has taken his side.
"He’s said what he’s said - he's just defending himself. He's been listening to everybody say he's this, or he's not doing this, or he's coming in late, and he stayed quiet until a point where he felt like he had to say something."
