Soap boss Laura Shaw has teased Emmerdale viewers with a major upcoming storyline
Two separate families in the ITV soap will be brought together as an incident leaves at least one life on the line. This tease comes courtesy of Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw.
Speaking to our colleagues at The Mirror, and other press, Laura said: "We're gonna see an accident happen that's gonna affect two big family groups. It'll connect those family groups together.“We’ll see someone in some really serious medical jeopardy, whether they live or die we’ll have to see.” It remains to be seen whether the incident will be fatal then.
Although, Laura has told Emmerdale viewers the upcoming scenes will have a long-lasting impact for many. She added: "What I can tell you is that the ripples and repercussions from that accident will be very long-lasting and life-changing for a number of our villagers."
