Emmerdale fans think they may have figured out the identity of the van driver who crashed into the car being driven by Chloe Harris.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer shared the possibility that the van driver could be none other than David Metcalfe, after actor Matthew Wolfenden, who has played the role since 2006, announced that he will be leaving the show. And a third suggested an even more heartbreaking possibility, writing: "Actually what if the van driver was Kerry and she’s accidentally killed/seriously hurt her daughter #Emmerdale."
The theory that David could have been the van driver, comes after actor Matthew Wolfenden announced he would be leaving the soap after 18 years.
