Ellie Goulding has confirmed that she's split from husband of four years Caspar Jopling. The singer announced the news on Instagram today and said they "privately separated some time ago."
Casper, 31 and who is an art dealer, had made his own announcement on social media just minutes before Ellie. He echoed her words, "I feel that I need to say something on mine and Ellie's current relationship... that I hope more than anything will make any final tabloid speculation disappear. Ellie met her husband back in 2016 at a dinner party thrown in her honour following her Jingle Bell Ball performance at Christmas 2016 and started dating the following year. They now share a two year old son Arthur.
