Mdm M. Pavayee Ammah, 83, said she heard commotion outside her home, with residents shouting and motorcyclists honking at 9.30pm. "I was already asleep at the time. I got up after hearing loud noises outside. I wanted to go out, but the neighbours shouted and asked me to remain indoors. "And not long after, the elephants walked towards the backyard and crash the rear fence facing the oil palm plantation," she said when met here today.
