SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Pixar's movie Elemental includes several Easter eggs and references to the animated studio's past and future. Directed by Peter Sohn, Elemental is the 27th movie from Pixar. The story follows Ember and Wade, two Fire and Water people who form an unexpected relationship and work together to solve a problem in Element City.
This is because the Element City sign reads "A" "H" and "Al." The H stands for Hydrogen, which has an atomic number of 1. The Al stands for Aluminum, which has an atomic number of 13. There is no element that only has an A, so that letter remains, meaning it reads as A113. For the purposes of Elemental's world, the A, H, and Al stand for stops on the train. But, Pixar historians know the real significance of the A113 reference.
11 The Pizza Planet Truck Elemental includes the Pizza Planet truck again but in a new way later on. Elemental's Pizza Planet truck Easter egg can be found in the background of a scene about halfway through the movie when Ember's mom Cinder follows her to Wade's family's apartment. While Cinder is outside, a boat version of the vehicle can be seen in the background.
8 Dug From Up Those who saw Elemental in theaters were treated to a new Pixar Short that acts as a follow-up to Up with Carl and Dug, but that is not the last time that the talking dog sidekick is seen. Pixar included the fan-favorite character in the new movie in a clever way. This comes through giving Dug a redesign that changes his fur to grass, making him a pet for one of the Land people.
5 Flagstone Tires The Cars franchise gets a special shout-out from Pixar through the inclusion of Flagstone Tires. The Elemental Easter egg can be seen as Flagstone Tires is shown on the signs in the stadium for the Windbreakers and Cropdusters' game. Flagstone Tires is a sponsor featured in the Cars movie.
