The rock band has been lined up as part of a concert series at the 11th Century venue.
Elbow has been announced as the fourth headline act for a series of outdoor summer concerts in Shropshire.
Ludlow Castle will host the band on Friday 26 July, in between gigs for James, Madness and Anne-Marie.Tickets go on sale to people living nearby on Wednesday, with general sales from Friday.The expansion was proposed in the wake of a successfulBusiness groups said the events had boosted visitor numbers to the town, with about 7,000 concert-goers at each one.
The promoter Futuresound had applied for permission to put on 15 gigs a year, but the plan was scaled back after council officials said it could give rise to "public nuisance".
