“I need to be able trust players in their work, trust that they will give everything. Then the lads have to trust each other too. You need teammates who will back you up. “Things will happen that we have to trust each other to react to in a positive way. We’ll go a goal down, we’ll lose games, we might have someone sent off. Those things will happen, and I want to know we have the right mentality to deal with that.
While the head coach had the opportunity to soak in the views, his players have had less chance to look at the scenery once they start training.
