A Chinese restaurant in Bushey has been awarded a higher rating after a one out of five food hygiene inspection.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said: “We are very pleased with the result of the reinspection, the staff have worked hard to ensure the place is clean and we are looking forward to sharing the good news with customers. The restaurant has been open in Bushey for 20 years and the owners were “very shocked” with the low scoring.
In the previous inspection, a “heavy” coat of grease was found on pipework near the cooking range, extension leads in the kitchen which were “very dirty” and close to the food packing material.
