EastEnders legend Anita Dobson is the latest star to join the cast of Doctor Who.
In a new announcement released by the BBC, the broadcaster revealed that the 73-year-old actor would be starring on the beloved sci-fi series, with It’s A Sin and After Life star Michelle Greenidge, 52, also joining the ranks of the programme.While little is known about who she could be playing in Doctor Who, some fans have started sharing theories, with guesses predicting that she could be playing the role of Ruby Sunday’s grandmother, with Ruby being the Doctor’s new companion.
The new series of the show will kick off in November this year with three special episodes, which will coincide with the 60th anniversary.
