EastEnders fans are convinced they've 'rumbled' how Rocky Cotton's downfall will happen, ahead of a devastating and deadly cafe fire, that is set to claim the life of one Walford resident.
The scheme first came to light after Kathy was shocked once more by a dodgy plug socket at her place of work - but she had no idea her partner was planning to burn the place down to claim on the insurance. However, with threats from Nish to pay back what he's owed leaving him fearful, a desperate Rocky decided to cause a fire at the café with the hope of making it look like an accident due to the existing wiring faults.
The insurance scam itself is also far from foolproof, argued many fans, with several regular viewers speculating that it could take weeks or even months for an insurance payout to come through - and there's also the chance that Kathy might not have sorted out the insurance application. Could Rocky be planning a pointless fire if it won't help him pay off his debts?
