The actress left fans bereft as she confirmed her plans to explore other roles, though Metro.co.uk understands that her alter-ego won’t be killed off. And, there could be joy on the horizon before she goes as she is being gifted a Christmas miracle.
‘I’ve had so much fun and done so many storylines, some of which have been sensitive, and I’ve been honoured to be trusted with such heavy stuff year after year. ‘So I’m going to be sad to say goodbye to my friends and family, but it was the right decision for me as I want to do other things. After 15 years, I’ve had a pretty good run!’ It seems that Shona may already have her next project lined up, with the actress reportedly being ‘in talks’ for the next series of Dancing On Ice.
