East Renfrewshire Council have confirmed the start dates for the first roads and pavements to be resurfaced this financial year.
Back in March, the local authority announced that it had drawn up proposals for a major roadworks programme using an additional investment of £3.5million to improve the conditions of local residential roads.
Among some of the first to be resurfaced are some streets in Barrhead including Broom Crescent and Cuillin Way .
