GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes will be stepping away from our screens this week as he undergoes vital surgery to help ease his chronic and often debilitating back pain
TV favourite Eamonn Holmes will be missing from our screens this week, as he is set to undergo surgery on Wednesday to help ease his agonising back pain.
Sharing the news about his upcoming procedure on GB News, Eamonn told fans at home: “I’m not doing too good. I don’t like talking about it, I don’t like it all being about me, but I’m so bad I’m going to have an operation on Wednesday.” Although the procedure carries with it a 20 per cent chance of complications, Eamonn admitted it was "worth the risk" to help relieve his discomfort.
The star also admitted that during one particularly bad flare up last year, he had been in so much pain he’d taken to social media to try and see if anyone could relate to what he was experiencing before confessing that the responses went “off the scale” at the time.Concluding his column, Eamonn added simply: “I want my back fixed and my life back.”
