Eamonn Holmes reveals he's been a victim of identify theft and had thousands stolen
Television presenter Eamonn Holmes has revealed today he's been the victim of identity theft, claiming that a fraudster impersonating him has been residing in a luxury hotel at his expense for the last two weeks.
The fraudster also allegedly stole money from the star's bank account and had ventured into buying building materials, including slabs and concrete. "I basically told him where to stick it," Eamonn told GB News audiences. "It isn't a victimless crime. "In Belfast, there may only be one Eamonn Holmes, yet a guy was able to go and live in a hotel using my name for two solid weeks at the top hotel in Belfast."
As well as the concerning news, TV presenter also excitedly announced today he was returning fully to GB News after nearly four months away, the news coming after what wife Ruth described as "a really difficult time".
