Eagles running back Saquon Barkley's father was allegedly caught with a loaded gun Wednesday.
that Barkley, 55, was pulled over while driving in the Bronx around 7 p.m. because of “obstructed license plates that did not match the vehicle.” Police found a loaded gun inside the car and said that the car was unregistered., “Barkley told the officers that carries a gun in the Bronx to protect himself. When asked about the car, investigators said he said his son had bought it for him.”
Barkley was arrested as a 19-year-old on a gun charge and spent one year at Rikers Island, his son Saquon revealed in 2018. “You have to respect him as a man. A lot of people can’t look their kids in the face and tell them the decisions that they made were awful and the mistakes they made were bad. That helped me.”
