Millions of people who hold a UK driving licence could be at risk of receiving a £1,000 fine under a DVLA rule.

Mr Lewis told listeners: “I’d like you to get your photo driving licence out of your purse or wallet please. There are two million people driving on expired licences", before adding: "Do check yours now".READ MORE: Tributes pour in as ITV's The Chase fans recognise 'legend' Mr Lewis added: "You’re far better to renew it. The fact that you’ve been driving with it expired until now isn’t an issue, just go and get it renewed. You probably did get a reminder of this but as I say 2 million people haven’t updated theirs.”
