“It was good,” said Strome, who signed with the Ducks as a free agent in the summer. “It was a little emotional. A lot of good friends here … I spent a lot of time here and a lot of special memories. When you can touch people’s lives and your life is impacted by good people – that’s what it’s all about.
“I thought jumped in there – he hasn’t played for quite a while now,” Eakins said. “I thought he skated well. He played even more physical than I expected he would. He moved the puck. I thought overall he was pretty solid.”
