Two men, one in his 20s and one in his 50s, have been arrested
Drugs worth an estimated £1.9million have been seized by the PSNI following a search in a Co Derry village, police say. and remained in police custody on Friday afternoon.A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Branch have arrested two men following a proactive search in the Castledawson area, during which Class A and Class B drugs to the value of approximately £1.9 million were seized.
DI Sweeney continued: “Our officers will continue to protect communities from the harm of illegal drugs. As a result of this excellent police work, a large quantity of suspected dangerous controlled drugs are now safely off our streets."
