Police and emergency services were called to Junction 11 around 10:50pm last night following a report of a single car crash. READ MORE: Tributes pour in for Lanarkshire mum who died after taking unwell at bus stop The crash forced the brief closure of the M8 to all vehicles travelling westbound, before one lane was reopened to allow vehicles to pass. The two-lane closure was then cleared around 1:55am.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 10.50pm on Saturday, 25 June, 2022, police were called to the M8 near junction 11, following a report of a single-car crash. One person was taken to hospital for treatment.
