They all follow the easy-drinking rules of low tannin, high acidity, and moderate alcohol–body,” James says. “My favorite wines always come from a specific area, if you could draw a circle on a map: eastern and southern France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Northern Italy. Franz’s wine is made in a completely natural style, using only indigenous yeasts for fermentation, resulting in a wine that truly speaks to a sense of place.
