Drew Allar, long considered the heir apparent to Sean Clifford, will start for Penn State after an offseason battle with Beau Pribula.

Allar is just the third five-star quarterback to sign with Penn State since 247 Sports started ranking prospects, joining Christian Hackenberg and Anthony Morelli. Allar went on to play in 10 games, completing 35 of 60 passes for 344 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions. He also rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. Those reps were invaluable for Allar., asked about the lessons he learned in 2022. “Go out there and be you. That’s one of the biggest things I learned. Don’t go out and force things. Just let the game flow to you.”
