SAN FRANCISCO — Draymond Green will not play in the Warriors’ two remaining preseason games and is questionable to play in the Warriors’ regular season opener against the Phoenix Suns next Tuesday as he rehabs from a left ankle sprain.
Green, 33, sprained his ankle coming down on Jonathan Kuminga’s foot in a pick-up game in the days before training camp began. Green went through a full individual workout before the Warriors’ preseason game against the Lakers in Los Angeles and has been doing light on-court workouts. Guard Cory Joseph is questionable to play Wednesday against the Kings as he recovers from a lower back strain.
