Police are seen weaving in and out of traffic on the M6 to try and reach the BMW convertible before an unmarked police car smashes into the side of it
This is the dramatic moment a BMW was rammed by police on the M6 following a terrifying rush-hour chase.
The 33-year-old man was then arrested after the dramatic scenes which brought the northbound carriageway to a halt. The incident happened close to J20 just before rush hour and a slip road also closed resulting in hours of delays.Footage of the dramatic chase and arrest was shared to social media site TikTok by user @chris_thefella. It appears to show the moment the police swarmed the motorway and surrounded the convertible BMW, the M.E.N reports.
A second unmarked police car then smashed into the drivers side of the car, causing it to spin. A total of five police cars then surrounded the vehicle with officers being seen running over to the car.
