Dr Alex George issued the warning on his Instagram telling people to ask themselves questions before they drink.
Dr Alex George has issued a warning over alcohol and "lies" we are often told. Taking to Instagram, he warned followers there are three things people need to be aware of.
"Alcohol makes you more stressed. Okay, in the moment there's this psychological decompression, but actually the next day that's usually worse." Talking about the third like, he added: "Not drinking alcohol is boring. Society tells that to have fun or to be an interesting person, we need to be out and partying. Being interesting is having things you care about, being able to share experiences and connecting with people."
