A critic of the Government's approach to tackling extremism could be unveiled as its new anti-Muslim hatred tsar within days.
He could be unveiled as the new tsar as early as Monday as part of a crackdown on extremism to be launched by Communities Secretary Michael Gove.The role would involve working with Tory ministers as well as Labour officials if there is a change of government after the next election, which will take place this year.
