The next commission meeting is set for June 18.
The land for a new City Hall and the look for a new City Manager headline a busy day for Dothan City Commissioners.The city purchased a collection of properties from Houston County for $2 million, with the intentions of building their new city hall.
In addition, the city purchased the Pardons and Parole building located at 230 North Oates Street, which is where a new parking lot will be built. This location makes it to where people will cross Troy Street to get to the courthouse instead of Oates Street, making it much safer for pedestrians.
