After appearing in consecutive AFC Championship Games, and a Super Bowl appearance, the Bengals will be the best squad the Browns will face all 2023, per both sides of the ball.But the Browns have no room to enter — I repeat — the Browns have no room to enter the Week 5 bye week with a sub 500. record. Three of their four early matchups feature every AFC North peer, so there’s some legit battles incoming.
The scariest part about the rest of the schedule is the number of teams the Browns appear to be better than on paper. These are the matchups the Browns have notoriously played underwhelming against, as they did a number of times in 2022. By the season’s end, I give the Browns double-digit wins. My mind says safe with 10, but I’ll give them the edge with an 11-6 record.
