Doctors Without Borders has been in Gaza for over 20 years providing humanitarian aid and support.

Executive Director Avril Benoit spoke with The National Desk about the work they are doing there right now and what they could face in the coming days amid the"It's an incredibly catastrophic situation words can't really describe the difficulty of bringing medical humanitarian aid, like we used to do.

"The problem with the fuel is that the generators cannot function. And for hospitals, that's the source of electricity. In a circumstance like this, you also have people coming in for surgery. Benoit also spoke on the teams currently in Gaza working in the middle of a war zone and the potential of more coming in to provide aid.
