Do your jobs faithfully and fearlessly, Chan Chun Sing urges public servants
SINGAPORE – Minister for Education and Minister-in-Charge of the Public Service Chan Chun Sing urged Singapore’s 153,000 public officers to perform their duties with conviction and integrity despite the pressures they may face from increased public scrutiny.
Mr Chan said he recognised the efforts of many public servants who want to use their capabilities and networks to go beyond their job scope to help more people.With this new movement, Mr Chan said that public officersHe said he hopes the 40 hours would refresh and recharge them. Mr Chan thanked public servants for their hard work over the years, and emphasised the importance of contingency operations based on the lessons drawn from the pandemic.
