Do These Hamann Upgrades Make The Ugly Duckling E63 BMW M6 Any More Desirable? | Carscoops carscoops
, also known as the E63, is considered by many as one of the ugliest BMWs ever produced. While this particular example has undergone a series of modifications, we don’t think they have done it any favors.
For starters, this isn’t just any old 6-Series variant and is in fact an M6. Regardless of how you feel about the styling, it’s hard to deny that the M6’s 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V10 is an absolute gem. Crafted by Hamann, the first change made to this M6 was the fitment of three-piece Schmidt wheels that measure 21×9.5 at the front and 21×10.5 at the rear and are wrapped in 255/30 and 295/25 tires respectively.
Rounding out the modifications made to the car is the fitment of a Hamann/Supersprint exhaust that no doubt makes the 5.0-liter V10 sound even better.since production of the E63-generation ended in 2010. It was later replaced by new 6-Series Coupe, Convertible, and Gran Coupe models with a heavily-updated and much more attractive design.
