Universal Studios Hollywood opts to remain open standard operating hours during the tropical storm.
Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will close their gates early due to Hurricane Hilary as other Southern California theme parks shutter operations completely or try to tough it out during the severe tropical storm barreling up the Baja Peninsula.
The already downgraded category 1 hurricane is expected to weaken further to tropical storm strength by the time it makes landfall in Southern California late on Sunday, Aug. 20 and pushes inland on Monday, Aug. 21.
