Changes will be made from November 1
Currently, customers pay £7.99 a month or £79.90 for the year if you pay upfront. However, from November 1 a huge change will be implemented.
It means those who want to keep all of the same features included with the current £7.99 per month plan – like the ability to watch in 4K Ultra HD with HDR and Dolby Atmos support and across four devices simultaneously – will need to move to Disney Plus Premium. This means, the Standard with Ads option will cost you £4.99 a month and does not include downloads. It also does not have an annual fee option.
The premium also offers a better video quality with up to 4k UHD and HDR compared to the standard with ads which is up to Full HD 1080p. Current customers will be automatically moved to the premium plan unless you change.
