Disney has pulled 'Mulan' from its August 21 release date, without announcing a new one.
"Over the last few months, it's become clear that nothing can be set in stone when it comes to how we release films during this global health crisis, and today that means pausing our release plans for 'Mulan' as we assess how we can most effectively bring this film to audiences around the world," a representative for Walt Disney Studios said in a statement.
, the release of"Unhinged," starring Russell Crowe, has been pushed from July 30, and although it may open next month instead, no new official release date has been announced. Similarly, Christopher Nolan's"Tenet" was indefinitely delayed earlier this week. Disney also confirmed Thursday that many of its movies are on track to premiere this year, including"The New Mutants" on Aug. 28,"The King's Man" on Sept. 18,"Death on the Nile" on Oct. 23,"Black Widow" on Nov 6 and"West Side Story" on Dec 18.
