Dinosaurs roar into Manchester for Jurassic Live event this weekend aff
Dinosaurs will be roaring back to life in Manchester - as the family-friendly Jurassic Live tour starts in the city at the weekend. The new show, featuring award-winning animatronic and realistic dinosaurs, takes over the Opera House on Saturday and Sunday before heading out on tour across the UK.
Set to be an "educational and fun show", Jurassic Live features an array of terrifying lizards from the Mesozoic era. It includes what is billed as the UK’s only flying Pterodactyl alongside a Parasaurolophus, Stegosaurus and Apatosaurus, the UK's biggest Tyrannosaurus Rex and the UK'S most realistic Triceratops and Velociraptor.If that sounds a little bit scary then don't worry - we are told the show also features "singing and dancing".
The show is aimed at a family audience and is suitable for people aged two and over. Although be warned it does feature scenes using dart guns and scenes where rangers’ lives are "in danger" in storylines in the show.
