Dinosaurs in the Park features 40 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, a Dino Dig Pit and more
Dozens of moving and roaring dinosaurs have taken over Heaton Park for this summer. Dinosaurs in the Park has returned just in time for the school holidays and welcomed its first visitors through the gates today, Friday.
Visitors will encounter 40 dinosaurs, including the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex, the towering Brachiosaurus, and the fierce Velociraptor, all 'designed with meticulous attention to detail'. The Fun Zone features lots of free attractions, some paid-for fairground rides and there's a Food Zone, where you can either buy refreshments from the food court, or use the space for a picnic.
"The look of wonder on children's faces as they come face to face with our life size dinosaurs is priceless. We are so excited about the special guest appearances at Dinosaurs in the Park from Dr Dean Lomax this Sunday, July 21 and again on Saturday, August 3.
