Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has bravely shared her battle with an eating disorder that left her so terrified that she didn't want to dance anymore
Dianne Buswell has emotionally opened up about how she has struggled with an eating disorder throughout her life.
During the revealing chat, photos were shown of Dianne when she was drastically underweight due to her eating disorder. The Strictly favourite added that being a dancer from a young age made things much harder for her as she felt pressure to be perfect and maintain a low weight. Dianne continued to share her struggle, explaining: "I also went on to dance in dance companies and one of those things was like a weekly weigh-in, and I can't tell you how terrifying that was. And how much that the whole week really was terrifying when you knew that away it was coming up.
"And that really went away from me and I had nothing to give on the dance floor and that really terrified me. I just couldn't do it anymore," she recalled.
