New information is still coming in from yesterday's deadly severe weather outbreak – here's the latest:
in six counties: Autauga, Chambers, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore and Tallapoosa.More than 20 homes were damaged or destroyed as a storm ripped through La Grange, Georgia.
"Right now we have six confirmed fatalities," Emergency Management Director Ernie Baggett told weather.com in a phone call a few minutes ago."The best we can tell is about 40 homes have major damage or have been completely destroyed." from the city this evening read.
