A warming trend will bring metro Denver its first 90-degree day since last summer on Monday, under mostly blue skies amid sunshine with no rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Higher temperatures favor the formation of ground-level ozone air pollution. The Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment has issued an air quality alert effective through 4 p.m., urging residents to minimize driving in non-electric vehicles.
