O'Riley was once again overlooked by his country and fans have been asking what he needs to do to become a regular.
Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand is in no doubt Matt O'Riley's time will come - but asked who he's supposed to drop from his current squad to make way for the 23-year-old.
But he was an unused sub in that game and with Dolberg back for their final two Euro 2024 qualifiers against Slovenia and Northern Ireland, O'Riley has been left out again. Hjulmand admits his recent performances for Celtic, notably the Parkhead draw with Atletico Madrid where he delivered a stunning midfield show, have caught his eye.
"He plays higher up in the pocket. He plays very, very close to the attackers. So he is a different type, and I think he has done well. I am completely sure that he is a player we will see a lot more of.
