Fans of the show were left emotional after hearing the family's story
Fans of Saturday Night Takeaway have been left 'in bits' following a family winning a holiday on the show after a dead family member made a nomination from beyond the grave - which left Dec struggling to talk.
The segment sees Ant and Dec give away a number of 'Takeaway Getaways', which is an all expenses paid holiday.But one family's prize had everyone in tears. A family from Dunfermline were handed a Takeaway Getaway after mum Sadie, who died of cancer, nominated her husband before her death. @LisainEdinburgh said: "The lad from Dunfermline on #SaturdayNightTakeaway being nominated by his late wife for a takeaway getaway". @craggsy82 added: "That last one.... OMG we're all in bits here God bless em".
Then, @LizzyBeynon said: "Sobbing my heart out at #SaturdayNightTakeaway omg happiest minute of the week that husband and kiddies".@blue_laurr11 said: "How emotional was the ending of the Happiest minute with Sades husband forgotten his name sorry #SaturdayNightTakeaway"
