The Only Fools and Horses star Sir David Jason discovered he had a long-lost daughter and 10-year-old grandson, after she reached out for a paternity test in 2022
Sir David Jason has shared his surprise at the growth spurt of his grandson, Charlie, after a six-month gap since their last meeting. The Only Fools and Horses icon discovered he had a secret daughter he did not know existed for over 50 years, until she reached out in 2022. Abi Harris is the daughter of David's former Under Milk Wood co-star Jennifer Hill, who he had a brief romance with.
'I couldn't get over the height that he'd suddenly changed. And so that's part of growing up, it's part of life and part of everything.' The doting grandad added: 'But, this new person, not only have I got this new daughter, I've got this giant coming .' David opened up about discovering he was a father to Abi in his new memoir This Time Next Year.
