King hopes Rangers can win their first premiership crown since 2021 but there's one thing they must do in the aftermath this time.
Dace King has urged Rangers to capitalise on their title opportunity and use it a springboard for future success, rather than "waste" it like they did after 55.
Since then Rangers have just one Scottish Cup and one League Cup, with their rivals taking the title in both seasons since under Ange Postecoglou, as well as a domestic Treble last season. But King is hopeful that first of all, Philippe Clement can guide the Light Blue back to the summit and keep them there this season. A win over Celtic in Sunday's Old Firm clash at Ibrox would send Gers top with one more massive derby clash to come at Parkhead after the split.
"I just like what is going n," King told the Rangers Review. "I really like the manager. I must say, I didn't know much about him. Watching his performances, watching his meda, O get the impression that he is respectful, he is cautious, but understands what he has got to do and he comes across well. One obstacle to that could be holding on to Clement. With a host of European heavyweights set to be looking for new bosses soon, King sees a real lack of quality candidates and fears that Ange Postecoglou's successful transition from Celtic to Tottenham could make Clement a target.
