Researchers with the Community-University Institute for Social Research presented the detailed results and data from the point-in-time count on Friday at a community appreciation day hosted by the Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership at Station 20 West.

One non-profit or community entity can’t do this on their own,” she said in a recent interview. Of those surveyed, observed or reported homeless, 32.5 per cent were in the 25-44 age range; 15.3 per cent were 13-24; 14.5 per cent were between the ages of 45 and 64; 4.7 per cent were 12 years old or younger; .9 per cent were 65 years old or older; 32 per cent were of unknown age.
