Researchers with the Community-University Institute for Social Research presented the detailed results and data from the point-in-time count on Friday at a community appreciation day hosted by the Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership at Station 20 West.

“Now, if anything, it’s actually more dire than ever to try and put those resources together to try and support . One non-profit or community entity can’t do this on their own,” she said in a recent interview. Of those surveyed, observed or reported homeless, 32.5 per cent were in the 25-44 age range; 15.3 per cent were 13-24; 14.5 per cent were between the ages of 45 and 64; 4.7 per cent were 12 years old or younger; .9 per cent were 65 years old or older; 32 per cent were of unknown age.
